Fed Has 65.8% Probability of Holding Rates Steady in July, CME Data Shows

According to CME FedWatch data as of June 25, the Federal Reserve has a 65.8% probability of holding interest rates unchanged in July and a 34.2% chance of raising rates by 25 basis points. For September, the Fed has a 33.6% probability of maintaining current rates, a 49.7% probability of a 25 basis point hike, and a 16.7% probability of raising rates by 50 basis points.
