Factory Launches 2.0 Platform to Automate Full Software Development Lifecycle

According to Beating, Factory announced the launch of Factory 2.0, upgrading its platform from a code-writing assistant to an enterprise-grade software factory that automates the entire development lifecycle from requirements analysis through deployment and monitoring. The system can automatically identify and generate fixes for reported bugs, complete code reviews and security scans, and deploy updates without manual intervention. Factory 2.0 does not lock enterprises to a single AI model; customers can specify different models for different workflows and use intelligent routing to optimize for cost and speed. The platform supports data privacy through bring-your-own-key (BYOK) encryption, on-premises deployment, and complete physical isolation to keep sensitive code off-network. Factory is already operational in production environments at NVIDIA, Adobe, Palo Alto Networks, EY, Wipro, and Adyen.
