EU Council Approves 100 Million Euros in Aid to Lebanese Armed Forces on June 4

According to the EU Council, on June 4, the European Union approved a 100 million euro aid package to support the Lebanese Armed Forces and strengthen regional stability under the European Peace Facility framework. The aid will enhance Lebanon's logistical capabilities, operational deployment, and capacity to maintain national security. This marks the fourth bilateral assistance measure provided by the European Peace Facility to Lebanon, bringing the total aid to 182 million euros.
