CoinEx Denies Knowingly Aiding Iran Crypto Flows in $3.84B Disconnect

According to TRM Labs, on Thursday CoinEx rejected allegations that it knowingly served as a conduit for over $3.84 billion in cryptocurrency flows between the Seychelles-based exchange and more than 60 sanctioned Iranian platforms over seven years. The crypto analytics firm linked CoinEx to Iran's largest crypto exchange, Nobitex, which was sanctioned earlier this month. CoinEx stated it operates as a neutral global platform serving ordinary users with no official ties to Iranian authorities, and has strengthened compliance measures following Nobitex's designation.
