CME Gold, Copper, and Brent Crude Post Volume and Open Interest Gains on June 22

According to CME data, on June 22, gold saw trading volume of 198,220 contracts and open interest of 350,666 contracts, up 41,602 and 7,414 contracts respectively from the previous session. Copper volume increased 12,346 contracts to 89,956, with open interest at 272,910. Brent crude oil posted volume gains of 60,173 contracts to 178,772 and open interest gains of 5,746 contracts to 256,481.

Silver trading activity rose with volume up 28,975 contracts to 93,351, but open interest declined 134 contracts to 108,902. WTI crude oil volume surged 93,721 contracts to 890,614, though open interest fell 8,831 contracts to 1,927,931.
