China's Midstream and Downstream Enterprises Face Cost Pressures; Policy Support Effects Expected to Emerge

According to Wang Guanhua, deputy director of China's National Bureau of Statistics, midstream and downstream enterprises are facing phase-related cost pressures. Wang stated at a State Council press conference on June 16 that while enterprises are taking measures to offset pressure through technological upgrades and operational optimization, relevant government departments are implementing support policies including equipment renovation subsidies and measures to reduce energy and logistics costs. Despite production pressures in some sectors, industrial output growth remains robust, industrial product prices are rebounding, and industrial enterprises' revenue and profits continue stable growth, demonstrating resilience in the industrial economy.
