China's Computing Power Network Enters Trillion-Yuan Investment Cycle to Support AI Growth

According to CCTV, on June 16, China's computing power network is entering a trillion-yuan investment cycle amid exponential growth in AI-driven demand for computing resources. China's total computing power capacity ranks second globally. Li Jianguo, deputy director of the Digital Technology and Infrastructure Construction Division at the National Data Bureau, stated that recent integration of supercomputing networks and domestic AI clusters is fostering a self-sustaining ecosystem. The government will boost computing power demand connectivity and encourage more service providers to join the network.

Direct investment in the computing power network, including information equipment and civil infrastructure, is projected to reach trillion-yuan scale. Computing-electricity coordination, combining computing power and power grid infrastructure optimization, will emerge as a new investment growth driver.
