China's CAC Opens AI Irregularities Reporting Section, Accepts 14 Categories of Complaints Starting June 2026

According to China's Cyberspace Administration (CAC), the CAC's reporting center launched a dedicated section in June 2026 to receive public complaints about AI application irregularities as part of a "Clear the Internet" campaign. The section accepts reports covering 14 categories of issues, including inadequate labeling of synthetic content, fabricated or violent and vulgar information, and other AI-related violations.
