AI-Assisted Systems Screen 70+ Diseases in Single CT Scan at Shanghai Hospitals

According to CCTV Finance, on June 12, AI-assisted diagnostic systems deployed across multiple Shanghai hospitals enable physicians to screen for more than 70 diseases in a single CT scan. The system automatically generates reports and compares findings with historical imaging data.

At Shanghai Jiao Tong University Medical School Affiliated Ruijin Hospital, the liver surgery department has implemented AI-guided navigation that creates three-dimensional visualization of blood vessel pathways and tumor locations, allowing surgical teams to complete critical procedural planning before incision.
