China Does Not Comment on UK PM Starmer's Resignation on June 23

According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun on June 23, China considers UK Prime Minister Starmer's resignation announced yesterday as an internal British matter and will not comment. Guo stated that China and the UK, both permanent members of the UN Security Council, should develop long-term stable strategic partnerships in their mutual interest and contribute to global peace and prosperity.
