Brazil's Central-South Sugar Output Surges 109% in Mid-Late April, UNICA Data Shows

According to UNICA, Brazil's Central-South sugar belt produced 1.8 million tons of sugar in mid-late April, surging 109.48% year-over-year. Sugarcane crushing reached 40.06 million tons, up 123.12% compared to the same period last year, while total ethanol production climbed 105.85% to 2.039 billion liters.
