According to Brazil's central bank survey conducted in late June 2026, economists expect the SELIC benchmark interest rate to hold steady at 14.00% by the end of 2026, unchanged from prior forecasts. For end-2027, the consensus expectation is for the rate to decline to 12.00%, also in line with previous projections.
