Fed to Hold Rates at 3.50%-3.75% Through End of 2027, Reuters Survey Shows

According to a Reuters survey released today, the Federal Reserve will maintain the federal funds rate within the 3.50%-3.75% range through the end of 2027, marking a shift from earlier June expectations that indicated one rate cut. Separately, an ECB survey showed eurozone consumers have downwardly revised inflation expectations for the next 12 months while long-term expectations remained stable, suggesting the central bank faces no immediate pressure for rate hikes.
