Bitbank Suspends Accounts Linked to Polymarket on June 15, Citing Gambling Concerns

According to CoinPost, Japanese crypto exchange Bitbank announced on June 15 the suspension of user accounts found conducting deposits and withdrawals with decentralized prediction market platforms such as Polymarket. The exchange stated that accessing these overseas services from Japan and deriving economic benefits could be considered gambling under local regulations. Suspended accounts will lose access to all functions, including login, cryptocurrency and yen trading, and transaction operations.
