Bank of Japan to Increase JGBs Purchases to 355 Billion Yen Twice Monthly from July to September

The Bank of Japan announced it will increase its monthly purchases of 1- to 3-year Japanese government bonds (JGBs) to 355 billion yen, twice per month, from July through September. This represents a shift from the previous plan of purchasing 255 billion yen three times monthly, effectively raising the total monthly purchase amount while reducing purchase frequency.
