Bank of England Maintains Very High Interest Rate Hike Threshold, Says Schroders Economist

According to Schroders senior economist George Brown today (June 18), the Bank of England maintains a "very high" threshold for interest rate hikes despite keeping its benchmark rate unchanged. If inflation expectations continue to rise, the central bank may still be forced to take action, Brown noted.
