According to Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan, financial advisors are showing more interest in stablecoins and tokenization than Bitcoin, based on meetings with over 40 advisors and eight sales calls he conducted recently. During these discussions, advisors shifted focus toward blockchain's practical applications in payments and capital markets rather than Bitcoin itself. Hougan noted that if institutional investors and financial advisors become major sources of future crypto inflows, capital may initially flow toward assets linked to stablecoins and tokenization, including networks like Ethereum, Solana, Chainlink, Avalanche, and Canton.
