According to SemiAnalysis's latest research report, NVIDIA's 800V DC power architecture production has been delayed to 2028, while the company's shared-photonics optical (CPO) technology mass production is now expected to shift to 2028-2029, both later than market expectations.
The delays are attributed to optical engine interconnect yields, ASIC integration challenges, and cost factors. Meanwhile, 400V DC solutions remain on track to begin volume shipments in 2026, and some related supply chain components for power systems, switches, and optical modules face extended timelines.
