Financial Advisors' Interest in Stablecoins and Tokenization Surpasses Bitcoin, Says Bitwise CIO

According to Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan, speaking to The Block this week after meetings with over 40 financial advisors, interest in stablecoins and tokenization has exceeded interest in Bitcoin among wealth managers. Financial advisors, who collectively manage over $175 trillion in assets, remain engaged with crypto despite ongoing market challenges, but their focus is shifting beyond Bitcoin due to heightened industry discussion around stablecoins and tokenization by major figures including the SEC chair, Goldman Sachs CEO, and BlackRock CEO.
