8004scan: 386,000 Onchain Agents Registered Across 29 Blockchains, But Only 2.24% Pass Health Checks

According to 8004scan report cited by PANews, approximately 386,000 onchain agents have been registered across 29 blockchains as of July 22, with over 319,000 users and 460,000 feedback records. However, only 2.24% of these agents passed health checks through A2A/MCP protocols and remain operational.

The report highlights that BNB Smart Chain leads in registration volume, Base ranks high in user engagement, Ethereum serves as the primary registration hub, while Celo and X Layer show stronger service readiness. Solana provides an alternative non-EVM registration track. 8004scan indicated the focus will shift from registration quantity to infrastructure-grade agents that are healthy, discoverable, payment-enabled, and reliably callable by other agents.
