Zhipu Completes Acquisition of Zhongke Jiahe for Hundreds of Millions of Yuan to Boost AI Chip Compatibility

According to Beating, Zhipu has acquired domestic AI infrastructure company Zhongke Jiahe for hundreds of millions of yuan. Zhongke Jiahe's core technology acts as a translation layer between AI models and different domestic chips, enabling the same model to run more efficiently across multiple chipsets.

The acquisition aims to reduce redundant chip adaptation work, improve computing resource utilization, and lower inference costs for Zhipu, which recently faced challenges with large-scale GLM-5 inference operations.
