On July 29, Woori Investment Securities raised deposit rates for individual customers by 0.05 to 0.30 percentage points in response to the base rate increase. The firm's commercial paper-based fixed deposits maturing in 1 year or 270–364 days now offer 3.80% annually on a pre-tax basis for individuals; with non-face-to-face channel bonuses, rates reach up to 3.90%.
The 90–179 day maturity tier saw the largest increase of 0.30 percentage points, now offering up to 3.30% with incentives. Woori also raised rates on CMA Note and WON CMA Note products by 0.10 percentage points, providing pre-tax rates of 2.80–3.70% and 2.70–2.90% respectively. All products are backed by South Korea's deposit protection scheme, covering up to 100 million won per account.
