WeChat Launches A2A Assistant Feature With Huawei, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Honor; Enables System AI to Send Messages, Make Calls

According to Tencent customer service confirmed by Beating, WeChat is collaborating with major smartphone manufacturers including Huawei, Xiaomi, Honor, OPPO, and vivo to introduce an A2A (Agent-to-Agent) assistant capability. The system AI from phone manufacturers can directly send instructions to WeChat, which executes them and returns results; multiple manufacturers have already completed integration.

Core features include initiating video and voice calls with designated contacts and sending WeChat messages through system voice assistants, with functionality expanding based on each manufacturer's adaptation.
