According to BlockBeats, visual reasoning AI startup Elorian completed a $55 million seed funding round on July 18, reaching a $300 million post-money valuation. The round was led by Striker Ventures, Menlo Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, with participation from Nvidia and Google senior vice president Jeff Dean.
Elorian was founded by Andrew Dai, who spent 14 years at Google DeepMind researching large language models, and Yinfei Yang, who led multimodal AI systems development at Apple. The team includes researchers from leading AI laboratories across pretraining, data, and multimodal AI domains.
