According to Bloomberg, Visa is cutting approximately 2,600 employees, or about 7% of its workforce, with layoffs affecting its technology and product teams. CEO Ryan McInerney said the company aims to improve operational efficiency and redirect resources toward high-potential business areas. Visa plans to accelerate growth in consumer payments, commercial and money flow solutions, and value-added services including stablecoins, cross-border payments, and B2B offerings.
