U.S. Treasury Maintains South Korea on Currency Watchlist on July 23

According to the U.S. Treasury Department, on July 23, the Trump administration maintained South Korea on its currency watchlist. The move was included in a semi-annual report on macroeconomic and exchange rate policies of major trading partners submitted to Congress. South Korea remained among several countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, Germany, Ireland, Switzerland, and Thailand on the monitoring list.
