U.S. Senator's Son Raises $30M for APEC Stock Derivatives Trading Platform

According to Fortune, Theodore Gillibrand, son of U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, recently completed a $30 million funding round for American Perpetuals Exchange Corp. (APEC), at a valuation of approximately $300 million.

The platform plans to offer perpetual futures contracts on stocks and equity indices rather than cryptocurrencies, and intends to seek a license from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
