OpenAI's global affairs lead Ryan Cohen revealed that participants discussed establishing a global AI standards forum. He stated that democracies aim to create a collaborative platform for exploring AI safety standards, with the U.S. leading the effort. Cohen emphasized that the ability to set standards is key to ensuring continued access to cutting-edge AI models.
