U.S. Pentagon Requests $80 Billion for Iran War and Other Expenses This Week

According to the Wall Street Journal, U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Feinberg stated this week that the Pentagon needs $80 billion to cover expenses related to the Iran war and other non-defense spending. A complete supplemental appropriations request may be submitted to Congress in coming days, which will include Pentagon funding as well as agriculture and disaster relief allocations.
