U.S. Military Denies Iran's Warning Shots Against American Destroyer in Gulf of Oman on June 5

According to Iran's state broadcaster IRIB, Iranian Navy vessels fired warning shots at two U.S. destroyers on June 5, forcing them to retreat from the Gulf of Oman.

The U.S. Central Command denied the claim, stating that Iranian forces "did not attack or fire upon" American military vessels. The U.S. military said the account of warning shots and forced retreat was inaccurate.
