US, India Hold Closed-Door Talks on AI and Chips Supply Chain on June 25

According to the Indian Embassy, India and the US held a closed-door roundtable on June 25 in Washington to discuss cooperation in AI, semiconductor supply chains, and critical minerals. Participants included Ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra, S Krishnan (secretary at India's Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology), and US Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce Bill Guidera.

The discussion covered investment barriers, long-term demand signals, and AI collaboration at frontier and application levels, the embassy said. The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum organized the meeting.
