U.S. Housing Bill with CBDC Ban Becomes Law Without Trump's Signature on Friday

According to The Block, the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which includes a provision banning the Federal Reserve from issuing a central bank digital currency, became law on Friday without President Donald Trump's signature. The bill passed the Senate 85-5 and the House 358-32 last month. Trump had announced Friday morning he would not sign it, citing Congress's failure to pass a voter citizenship requirement law. Under the Constitution, a bill automatically becomes law after 10 days if the president takes no action.
