U.S. Crude Inventories Fall 18.8M Barrels to Record Low as Exports Hit Historical High

GateNews
According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) weekly report released on May 20, U.S. crude oil inventories fell by a record 18.8 million barrels last week, driven by exports at historical highs that are depleting domestic supply buffers. The Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) accounted for approximately 9.9 million barrels of the decline. Cushing, Oklahoma, the key delivery hub, saw inventory decline for the fourth consecutive week, raising concerns about tightening supply conditions.
