According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, on June 11 the office announced charges against Ruslan Igorevich Tkachuk, 37, a Ukrainian national, and Alexander Vladimirovich Ledenev, 25, a Russian national, both residing in Georgia. The two were arrested and charged with conspiracy to launder monetary instruments and conducting money laundering through their operation of AudiA6, a cryptocurrency laundering service that processed approximately 10,333 Bitcoin (valued at roughly $389.7 million) since 2021.

A coordinated multinational operation involving the Secret Service, IRS Criminal Investigation, Europol, and law enforcement from ten additional countries seized AudiA6 infrastructure, froze cryptocurrency assets, and blocked associated Telegram accounts. Prosecutors stated that approximately 393.39 BTC was received directly from darknet markets, ransomware organizations, and other illicit sources. If convicted, each defendant faces up to 20 years in prison; the U.S. Attorney's Office is seeking their extradition to Pennsylvania.
