UAE and Iran Foreign Ministers Call on June 26 to Discuss Regional Situation After U.S.-Iran Deal

According to Jin10, on June 26, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi held a phone call to discuss regional developments following the U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding.

Al Nahyan emphasized that all parties must fully comply with agreement terms, immediately halt hostilities, respect national sovereignty, uphold international law, and ensure freedom of navigation including through the Strait of Hormuz. He expressed hope that ongoing U.S.-Iran negotiations will yield positive results for regional stability and stressed that diplomatic dialogue is the best approach to resolving regional and international crises.
