According to Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing, two semiconductor-focused funds experienced trading halts at market open on May 28 due to premiums exceeding 50%. Global Chip LOF and China-Korea Semiconductor ETF both suspended trading, with resumption scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Hong Kong time.

The fund managers issued risk warnings amid the heightened premium surge. Huaxia Fund specifically cautioned investors against chasing Nasdaq ETFs during volatile market conditions.
