Twelve Labs Raises $100M in Series B, Amazon Joins as Investor

According to Bloomberg, video AI startup Twelve Labs raised $100 million in a Series B round yesterday, co-led by NEA and Naver Ventures, with Amazon also participating. The San Francisco-based company, founded by Korean-born engineers, said Amazon Web Services signed a multiyear agreement to host its workloads on Trainium chips. Twelve Labs' models are used in media, sports, advertising, government, and security for tasks including video search, highlight creation, and content moderation.
