Trump Trade Index Falls 16% Since May as ETF Holdings Report Year-to-Date Losses

According to Ned Davis Research, the Trump Trade Index—comprising over a dozen exchange-traded funds (ETFs) tracking stocks expected to benefit from White House policies on defense spending, domestic manufacturing, and infrastructure—has declined approximately 16% since May after outperforming the S&P 500 earlier this year. Multiple ETFs within the index are now reporting cumulative year-to-date losses.
