According to Trump's financial disclosure filed with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, he earned over $1.4 billion from family crypto projects, including World Liberty Financial and Trump meme coin, last year. Reuters analysis showed his stock and bond portfolio size grew at least threefold during the same period, with holdings valued between $703 million and $2.6 billion at the end of 2025, compared to $225 million to $608 million at the end of 2024.

Nine digital asset experts who reviewed the disclosure noted that Trump's personal investment strategy appears focused on rapidly converting crypto gains into traditional assets. Timothy Massad, director of Harvard Kennedy School's Digital Assets Policy Project, stated the disclosures show Trump cashed out meme coin and World Liberty Financial tokens, then reinvested profits in stocks and bonds, despite public advocacy for making the U.S. a global crypto hub.
