According to Foresight News, Travala launched an AI-powered hotel booking and settlement protocol called Travala Travel MCP on Base today, enabling automated searches, bookings, and payments in stablecoins without manual intervention. The protocol integrates the x402 open payment standard, allowing APIs, applications, and AI agents to process instant stablecoin payments directly over the internet.

The platform is designed for AI agents and will expand to other travel verticals including flights in future updates. Travala is incentivizing developer adoption with a 10% cbBTC cashback reward for those who build and integrate AI agents with the protocol.
