Top Three Unicorns on Hurun Global List All Deploy Large Language Models; Anthropic Valued at 660 Billion Yuan

According to the Hurun Research Institute, on June 25, the top three unicorns on the 2026 Global Unicorn List all operate in large language models. Anthropic, the parent company of Claude, became the highest-valued unicorn globally at 660 billion yuan, marking a single-year increase of 610 billion yuan—a record on the Hurun unicorn list. OpenAI, the parent company of ChatGPT, ranked second with a valuation of 580 billion yuan, followed by ByteDance, the parent company of Doubao, at 330 billion yuan in third place.

Among 308 newly listed unicorn companies, DeepSeek topped the rankings with a valuation of 340 billion yuan, entering the global top 15 unicorns. Project Prometheus, a physics AI company co-founded by Jeff Bezos, ranked second among new entrants at 258 billion yuan, while U.S.-based prediction market platform Kalshi ranked third at 150 billion yuan.
