According to Thethaiger, Thai police arrested 8 suspects on June 4 in a cryptocurrency exchange robbery targeting a 35-year-old Chinese national. The victim lost 196,000 baht during an offline swap at a coffee shop in Bangkok's Bueng Kum district; the suspects fled on motorcycles after taking cash. Authorities recovered 81,000 baht and seized vehicles and personal items. One suspect remains at large. All 8 arrested were charged with robbery, aiding escape, and conspiracy; the case has been transferred to local police for further investigation.
