Tether Leads $1.4B Investment in NEURA Robotics, Equipping Robots With Built-In USDT Wallets

According to Tether, the stablecoin issuer announced on June 12 a $1.4 billion Series C investment in NEURA Robotics, with plans to integrate USDT wallets into robots. The funding round, led by Tether, also includes participation from NVIDIA, Amazon, Qualcomm, Bosch, Schaeffler and the European Investment Bank. The investment ranks among the largest private funding rounds ever raised by a humanoid robotics company.

Tether will integrate its Wallet Development Kit (WDK) directly into NEURA's robots, enabling them to operate self-custodial wallets, receive payments after completing tasks, and make payments to other machines automatically. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated: "Autonomous machines need the ability to process information locally, make decisions and transact without relying on centralized intermediaries." NEURA targets deploying 5 million cognitive robots by 2030 and already has over $1 billion in orders and strategic deployment commitments.
