Switzerland's Current Account Surplus Falls to CHF 16 Billion in Q1 2026, Down CHF 11 Billion Year-on-Year

According to the Swiss National Bank, Switzerland's current account surplus fell to 16 billion Swiss francs in the first quarter of 2026, declining 11 billion Swiss francs year-on-year. The SNB attributed the decrease to a relatively high base in the same period of 2025.
