Stellar Plans Transition to Quantum-Resistant Cryptography by End of 2027

According to Coindesk, Stellar (XLM) announced plans to transition to quantum-resistant cryptography by the end of 2027. The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) will migrate all Stellar accounts to a quantum-resistant signature scheme through a protocol layer update, preserving existing wallet addresses and on-chain transaction history. Users will not need to change their addresses or recreate transaction records during the transition.
