SpaceX Plans $20 Billion Investment-Grade Bond Issuance Next Week

According to Reuters and other media reports, SpaceX plans to issue at least $20 billion in investment-grade bonds as early as next week. Underwriting banks are expected to hold investor conference calls starting Monday to discuss the debt offering. The proceeds will be used to refinance a $20 billion bridge loan maturing in September 2027. This will mark SpaceX's first investment-grade bond issuance. Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley are leading the transaction. As of March 31, 2026, SpaceX's total long-term debt stood at $29.1 billion, primarily from the bridge financing.
