SpaceX IPO Filing Discloses $890M in Cumulative Purchases from Tesla Since 2023

According to SpaceX's IPO prospectus filed on May 20, the company has cumulatively contributed approximately $890 million in business revenues to Tesla since 2023, primarily through energy storage transactions. xAI, previously merged into SpaceX, purchased $191 million and $506 million worth of Tesla Megapack batteries in 2024 and 2025 respectively to support AI infrastructure. Additionally, SpaceX acquired approximately $131 million worth of Cybertruck electric pickups from Tesla last year.

The filing also confirmed that Tesla and SpaceX are jointly constructing the Terafab semiconductor manufacturing facility.
