SpaceX Adds $750B in Market Cap Post-IPO, Set To Overtake Amazon As Fifth-Largest Company

According to Stocktwits, SpaceX (SPCX) added $750 billion to its market capitalization since its Tuesday Nasdaq debut and is on track to overtake Amazon (AMZN) as the world's fifth-largest company within days. SpaceX's market cap reached $2.52 trillion at Monday's close compared to Amazon's $2.646 trillion; SPCX shares would need to rise about 6% to surpass Amazon. The company raised $75 billion through its IPO at a $1.77 trillion valuation, with the underwriter's exercise of additional share options bringing total IPO proceeds to $85.7 billion.

On Tuesday, SpaceX announced a definitive agreement to acquire Cursor parent Anysphere for $60 billion, with the deal expected to close in Q3 2026.
