South Korea's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) announced on July 21 that it will strengthen cooperation with the Broadcasting Communications Deliberation Committee to block access to illegal overseas cryptocurrency platforms, according to an official statement released today.

The FIU stated it will work closely with investigative authorities to devise effective measures based on objective evidence, ensuring timely access blocking to illegal crypto asset operator websites.
