South Korea's Egg Prices Surge to 7,506 Won Mid-June, Up 7.1% Year-Over-Year

According to Guru Club, citing South Korea's livestock products quality assessment agency and agriculture ministry data, egg prices in South Korea rose significantly mid-June. A 30-pack retail box hit 7,506 won (up 7.1% year-over-year), while premium 10-pack boxes averaged 5,229 won, surpassing 5,000 won for the first time and climbing 39% compared to last year. Daily egg supply averaged 47.05 million units this month, down 3.3% versus the prior year.
